TerraCycle's purpose is to eliminate the idea of waste. We do this by creating national recycling systems for previously non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle waste. Anyone can sign up for these programs, called the Brigades, and start sending us waste.
TerraCycle then converts the collected waste into a wide variety of products and materials. With more than 20 million people collecting waste in over 20 countries TerraCycle has diverted billions of units of waste and used them to create over 1,500 different products available at major retailers ranging from Walmart to Whole Foods Market.

Transitioning To Green Jobs
Helping your organization adopt the principles of Sustainable Enterprise for your success in the new Green Economy.
We help integrate sustainability into all aspects of your organization ─ focusing holistically ─ on bringing it all together to maximize your triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profits. Our Vision… Inspire and support all companies and organizations in beginning or accelerating their own journey to sustainability….…Simply and Effectively.
Our promise is simple… We assist every organization we touch to simultaneously and synergistically: 1. Engage your People, 2. Sustain Our Planet and 3. Maximize your Profitability.
The Challenge… We have observed that many companies see sustainability as a complex, mysterious, onerous and costly process. They can't figure out exactly what it means for their company, and they feel a Pandora's Box awaits those who try. For these reasons they avoid even the exploration of becoming a sustainable company.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a voluntary, consensus-based, market-driven program that provides third-party verification of green buildings. From individual buildings and homes, to entire neighborhoods and communities, LEED is transforming the way built environments are designed, constructed, and operated. Comprehensive and flexible, LEED addresses the entire lifecycle of a building.
Participation in the voluntary LEED process demonstrates leadership, innovation, environmental stewardship and social responsibility. LEED provides building owners and operators the tools they need to immediately impact their building’s performance and bottom line, while providing healthy indoor spaces for a building’s occupants.
LEED projects have been successfully established in 135 countries. International projects, those outside the United States, make up more than 50% of the total LEED registered square footage. LEED unites us in a single global community and provides regional solutions, while recognizing local realities.
