Government Outreach Program to network with local, county and state government officials and agencies and to arrange for meet and greets at our various library programs that fall under districts, county or town boundaries. Work on building relationships with Town, County and State officials to gain their support and resources to enhance our efforts and capabilities to serve our membership. Setting up meet and greets, invite officials to sit through our meetings, to get members faces in front of officials for better connection and networking. – very important area to expand our membership, group awareness level and find new volunteers, professionals willing to donate time and expertise to members and meetings, and eventually to find businesses willing to donate/invest in our model. Create alliances with all forms of media to get publicity levels that would drive new members to our groups, work with other community groups in creating events to be co-sponsored, set up publicity for all political meetings we have, and send in application for the organization to various state and national level awards in name of group to enhance awareness, county freeholders, state officials.
